Jeyuk-Bokkeum as Eaten at Danbam in Itaewon Class

By Bokkeum Curator

Thin pork, gochujang, a smoking pan — pocha stir-fry first, then the episode 5 menu cite.

TL;DR

Itaewon Class puts spicy stir-fried pork on the Danbam menu. Korean Bapsang logs jeyuk-bokkeum in episode 5 and sundubu jjigae in episodes 5, 7, and 16. This page is the pork stir-fry.

Thin pork. Gochujang. A hot pan. That is pocha food. Method: /recipes/jeyuk-bokkeum-classic. The luxury-fashion Top 5 is a different door: /blog/top-5-bokkeum-that-outsell-bbq-coupling-lv-dior-chanel.

The pan: 400 g thinly sliced pork shoulder; gochujang, gochugaru, soy, sugar, garlic, ginger; onion, cabbage, or scallion; a little oil; a very hot skillet. Marinate 20 minutes. Cook in batches so the meat browns instead of steaming. That is the whole method.

In Itaewon Class, Danbam serves it as the house stir-fry. Korean Bapsang’s episode guide puts jeyuk-bokkeum on the menu in episode 5, next to sundubu jjigae when a rival orders “the best stew and the best stir-fry.” We cite Bapsang’s recap, not a ripped frame. The pub is fiction. The dish is not.

Sundubu jjigae is the other Danbam signature (episodes 5, 7, 16). Until we have a stew site, send readers to https://kimchee.ai/recipes/kimchi-jjigae-restaurant-style for the kimchi-jjigae logic and keep this page on the pork.
